So Mercury is retrograde and brought with it it's normal communication foobars and flubs. I made it into work today after working remotely for the past several weeks due to the weather that's been hammering us and now I kinda wish I'd stayed at home and hidden under the covers....

Today's been periodic episodes of panic interspersed with boredom and exhaustion, and it's only MONDAY!!!!!!

I'm not sure I'll make it to Friday at this point.

Mid-year reviews are already upon us, so I need to look into what exactly I commited myself to doing this year, and I need to think about what I want to be when I grow up.... (I wanna be an airforce ranger......)

Went out and rented movies -- we picked up the 'stoopid' movies for the week (not enough brain power to figure out something tricksy or with real depth). So far we've watched "House Bunny", "Disaster Movie" and "You Don't Mess with the Zohan".

We still have "Beer for my Horses" which I am not sure about, but keep running across random recs on various sites and one other I think.... *see what I mean about the brain thing?*

We've also been watching Dexter and made it through seasons 1 and 2 and partially through season 3.

The Spawn have also been sharing the original Ben 10 cartoons in order, which now make so much more sense!

I think Leverage is on tonight, but I won't see it until tomorrow.... it's on past my bedtime.

Ahhh, Mercury being retrograde explains my day as well, full of false starts and errors. I was SO glad to get home after what was supposed to be a quick trip to reprogram our Smart car...2 hours later, I was released. The good news, they washed and vacuumed the car, which desperately needed it. But still, it was one of THOSE days. Thanks for letting me know I wasn't the only one. ;-)

heh should have checked here before commenting back on mine *laughing* I am still blaming winter now in general I think!

Dexter is wonderful! I've not seen the full season yet, have been sort of stretching it out, cause yeah, it's great.

well... it took a triple shot 320z mocha to get me going... i got a lot done. i packed away all the 'holiday' stuff. some of mom's 'holiday' stuff. we shop after xmas and hit the sales for wrapping paper and whatnot for next year... it saves $$ in the long run. so, i filled a barrel full of stuff and a small tote and an ornament tote... got four garbage bags of garbage out... maybe 5. took all the stuffs out to the garage. cleaned off the porch. cleared the dining room. put my new table cloth on and set it. (brown table cloth w/napkins for $5 on clearance-woohooooooo!!!!) and today we are getting our sat back. its been out since the big storm ere xmas. I WANT MY TV BACK!!!! I NEED BOOMERANG AND FOODNETWORK ANDS ANIMALPLANET BACK!!!! *SOBS!!!!!!*

now we're down to dusting/vacuuming/etc.

and widdle chew is in deep shit. he hasn't cleaned the bathroom and its been over a month. he didn't unload the dishwasher yesterday when asked, AND he has like five towels out in a bag on the porch from mr k's carrier. he has stenchy 'accidents' when he doesn't let mr k out regularly. (he has a soft baby meow-and we sometimes don't hear him).

wow... i'm rambling too... gotta run
